I assume that the reader has reached this section having read The Absolute and Duality, but it won"t hurt to make a little synthesis of what has been said so far:

Life Itself, the source of All, the never changing and all pervading Brahman, initiates the manifestation of the Universe with a dynamic impulse that results in the creation of a plane where the active principle is the Divine Will. This first self-created principle (Brahma, The Father) will be in its turn the origin of the succession of energies that will be eventually manifested.

It was previously said that the first of these manifestations was the initial prototype of substance: The Mother, Shiva, etc. This level of Creation is negative (passive or receptive) compared to the Brahma principle that originated it, and it's under the control of Its Will. The way I interpret the following phenomena might not be neither correct or the most adequate, but it will surely be of use to the present or future students of spiritual sciences to expand their points of view and compare.

The first principle originated within Brahman (the Father Aspect of creation, whose nature is Will, Impulse and Kinetic Energy) acts over the Mother Principle, the primordial substance, and creates as a result a Third Aspect, whose different correspondences are given (as it was done in other sections) in the top of this page.

All the analogies and phenomena that can be associated with this cosmic relationship of Father - Mother, and the result of this combination (The Son) will be useful as an inspiration to understand Creation a little better.

The appearance, or the final manifestation of this Third cosmic Aspect that will be present in all the following sub-levels of creation (in the same way that there are correspondences of the Father and Mother Aspects in all dimensions) is the end of a cycle of manifestation that had three stages.

The conjunction of Father, Mother and Son forms the basic concept of the Holy Trinity, and they are considered to be the three fundamental principles in God's nature that (as we'll see later on) are reflected in every plane or level of Creation and in every form of life.

In the creation of a solar system, and particularly in the culminating formation of its central star we have a perfect example of these three energies and principles acting on levels that we are able to perceive with the senses, or to analyze with our limited reasoning.

According to scientists, all solar systems are created from the primary element Hydrogen, which is the most abundant substance Universe. This element is, in a certain way, the physical representative of the Mother principle. With Hydrogen as the main source of mass and other heavier elements (elements with higher atomic number that are the residue of other solar systems), the Father Aspect (the Will) acts over that substance forcing it to move. It is known that motion increases the gravitational energy of any mass, so the higher the kinetic impulse, the faster those Hydrogen atoms will be attracted to each other by their increased gravitational force. The focus of this rotating impulse, also called the "Laya Center" (a point of focused Will), will be the zone where the substance (the Mother) will be increasingly accumulated.

In the first stages of this grouping and condensation of Hydrogen atoms can be seen the first signs of the glorious manifestation of the Son Aspect of Creation, which will have its apogee when the atoms get compressed to a critical point and start to fuse with each other, releasing enormous amounts of energy in the process and giving birth to Light, and many other electromagnetic waves. These stellar emanations will in turn be what will make possible and sustain the manifestation of new planes of existence (forms of life in other planets, etc.)

At the same time that a new type of radiant manifestation has been created, in the core of any star (the consummated expression of the three primary principles: Father, Mother and Son) another phenomenon takes place by which new substances are "given birth". When the Hydrogen atoms that make up most of the percentage of the now incandescent sphere fuse with each other, they not only release the mentioned energies, but those fused atoms become a new element or substance (the first step is Helium) that will be the nucleus of the star. After millions of years, the moment comes when that same Helium gets to a critical point because of intense gravitational pressures and its atoms will begin to fuse with each other as the Hydrogen did before, and that will create even another new element or substance. The subject is really vast and complex, so I will not dwell on the details of this most interesting astrophysical subject.

It is worth suggesting that the element Helium is (because it's the first result of the Mother - Father combination) the one that represents best the Son Aspect. The subject of the vibrational relationship between each of the known elements and their corresponding planes or primary dimensions has a lot of variables, and can be seen from many different angles. For example, a numerical relationship could be established between the planes and the atomic number of an element, which would result in the following table:

The options are numerous and diverse, without any doubt. It's not a bad idea to visualize the process of Creation of a substance or a different state of energy - matter (a plane or dimension) "inside" another one, based on the example given of the evolution of a star. This example has its analogies in higher macrocosmic scales than this one, and also in the heart of every form of life down to the atomic levels of existence. Galaxies, planets, and every form of life are created based on the same principle: Substance (the Mother) is grouped by an act of the Father Aspect, where the Will (expressed as kinetic energy), is the main agent.

The Trinity is the consummation of a cycle in the creative process. The notion of Light or the irradiation of different energies as a consequence of the fusion of two polarities, is intimately associated with this third aspect. This phenomenon takes place in many different planes which are the reflection of this primordial aspect (the Son), and one manifestation of it is the halo or light that can be seen by the trained eye over the head of saints.

The Absolute manifests itself in this triple way (through the First, Second and Third Rays) along the successive dimensions or planes, which we could classify in groups of three that will correspond with each other. Before giving any details about the nature of these planes, I"d like to explain better the concept of the correspondences by means of a little diagram :

Each plane is triple, and the columns that have the same decimal extension (.1, .2, etc.) correspond with each other and have the characteristics of the primary plane possessing the same number as the extension (is that clear for you?). The planes where the energy is the "purest" will be the ones that have an extension equal to the numeric value of the primary plane, and that were here colored with red. To complicate things a little more, we can go one step further in this triple division of energy - matter including yet another subdivision:

The different subdivisions extend themselves maybe infinitely, together with the multiple combinations of the three cosmic Aspects and their particular attributes, which makes the planes, levels of existence, or states of the energy more varied every time and even harder to classify, except in the given examples of "pure" combinations of energy which are again shown in red in the previous table.

The order in which I exposed the three Aspects of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Ghost, or The Mother) might be different than how they are conventionally ordered and the number assigned to their rays:

2nd. Aspect 2nd. Ray Love-Wisdom Buddhi The Son Vishnu
3rd. Aspect 3rd. Ray Creative Intelligence Manas The Holy Spirit Shiva

The previous diagram will serve to illustrate the different Aspects and their correlation under different names, information that was given separately in the previous sections (the One and Duality) at the top of their repective pages.

Due to the fact that I ordered the topics according to their order of appearance in the process of Creation, the son Aspect was the third to be mentioned. But because it the result of the combination of Spirit and Matter (or Father and Mother), it is considered as more evolved or closer to the Father nature than the latter one, so what we consider the Son Aspect will be the Second, and the Mother aspect will be refered as the Third from now on to match the way the subject has been exposed in other teachings, particularly the ones by Alice A. Bailey.

Eventually, as evolution proceeds, this Second Aspect or Ray fuses with the Mother Aspect leaving only the basic duality of Mather-Father, Matter-Spirit, Ray 3 - Ray 1, etc., but this will occur only in the Cosmic scale that we are dealing with after the Universe starts the process of being re-absorbed into the primordial nature of Brahman. Many instances occur in the lower subplanes, and in the human being where this second aspect is developed to the fullest only to fuse with the Mother aspect later.

Our Solar System responds particularly to the influence of this Second Primary Aspect (the Son, Buddhi, etc.), or to put it in a different way, The Solar System belongs to the Second Ray, and all It's manifestations are only subdivisions of that energy. That means that all subplanes of our system fit into the subdivisions shown in the second row of the previously shown tables (2.1, 2.2, 2.3, etc.). The Sun is part of a group of solar systems that altogether form a unity, and it's the Second Primary Aspect in such a scheme.

The Sun, just like any other macro or microcosmic entity, is essentially triple and is animated by the three fundamental cosmic principles. I wrote before that the First Aspect was found in the "Central Spiritual Sun", which is not a place, but a State of Being, a dimension that interpenetrates others. The Second Aspect is called (in the Sun) "The Heart of the Sun", and it is also assumed that a solar entity of a very high order is the main receptor-emitter focus.

On Earth, the "Planetary Heart" has he following beings as the representatives of the Second Ray of Love - Wisdom:

  • Sanat Kumara, as the main receptor of all the primary rays.
  • One of the three entities that constitute a triangle of energy around S.K., known as the second Buddha of Activity.
  • The group of beings that together constitute the Fifth Kingdom of Nature, or the planetary center known as The Hierarchy.
  • The Christ, the head of The Hierarchy.
  • All human beings whose energetic configuration vibrates in resonance with the Second Ray in any of it's subdivisions.
  • Educators, researchers and religious authorities.
  • The etheric heart centre and its physical manifestation in human beings and all microcosmic forms of life: the heart.
It is worth to mention that, because of the fundamental nature of our Solar System, all correspondences with the Second Aspect in Its (the Solar) microcosm are of great importance and they fit, to certain extent, between that which was defined as being a "pure" influence. In this Solar System, God is indeed pure Love, and the Second Aspect is the last to be mastered by the evolving entities.
